BEIJING (Reuters) – China will launch an investigation into PVH (NYSE:), the mother or father firm of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, for suspected violations of market buying and selling ideas relating to Xinjiang-related merchandise, the commerce ministry stated on Tuesday.
The U.S. firm should present documentation and proof inside 30 days detailing any “discriminatory measures” taken relating to Xinjiang merchandise over the previous three years, the ministry stated in an announcement.
Moreover, the ministry famous in a separate assertion that PVH is suspected of “unjustly boycotting” Xinjiang cotton and different merchandise “with out factual foundation”.
