BEIJING (Reuters) – China will launch investigations into U.S. authorities subsidies to its semiconductor sector on the request of China’s mature node chip trade, the commerce ministry stated on Thursday.
China’s chip trade stated that the Biden administration has offered giant quantities of subsidies to the U.S. chip trade, giving U.S. corporations an unfair aggressive benefit, in accordance with the commerce ministry.
U.S. corporations exported mature node chip merchandise to China at low costs, damaging the rights and pursuits of China’s trade, the ministry stated.
