(Reuters) – Russia recorded a finances deficit of greater than 3 trillion roubles for the third 12 months working in 2024, the finance ministry mentioned on Monday, with each spending and income rising sharply in contrast with 2023 as Moscow ploughed financial sources into the battle in Ukraine.
In response to the ministry’s preliminary estimate, the general deficit stood at 3.49 trillion roubles ($34.39 billion), with complete revenues rising 26% 12 months on 12 months to 36.71 trillion roubles and spending climbing by 24.2% to 40.19 trillion roubles.
