(RTTNews) – Sasol Ltd (SSL), a chemical compounds and power firm, Monday introduced that Muriel Dube, the previous Lead Impartial Director, has been appointed Chairman of the Board, with impact from September 13.
Following the appointment, the Sasol Board has appointed Martina Floel as Lead Impartial Director with impact from the identical day.
Dube stepped down as Chairman of the Security, Social and Ethics Committee and member of the Audit Committee and Capital Funding Committee.
Consequently, the Board appointed David Eyton, an unbiased non-executive director, as Chairman of the Security, Social and Ethics Committee and member of the Audit Committee and Nomination and Governance Committee.
As a consequence of these appointments, Eyton stepped down as member of the Remuneration Committee with impact from September 14. Katherine Harper, an unbiased non-executive director, has been appointed as member of the Remuneration Committee with impact from the identical day.
Dube joined the Sasol Board as an unbiased non-executive director in 2018. At the moment she is a non-executive director on the UK Infrastructure Financial institution. Her previous non-executive director roles embody Management Dangers UK, Apogee Sustainability, Vodacom South Africa, Bidvest Group Restricted, PG Group, Bravo Manufacturers, Fluormin plc and Enviroserv.
She beforehand served because the Chief Negotiator for the Authorities of South Africa in local weather change negotiations beneath the United Nations Framework Conference on Local weather Change, and as Director of Atmospheric Safety and Chemical compounds Administration on the Division of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.
