SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s financial system shrank 0.2% within the second quarter, revised central financial institution information confirmed on Thursday, unchanged from its advance estimate issued in July.
It was the sharpest quarterly contraction for the reason that fourth quarter of 2022 when the financial system shrank by 0.5%.
On an annual foundation, gross home product was 2.3% increased within the April-June quarter, weaker than the three.3% progress logged within the first quarter.
