BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s President Xi Jinping advised his U.S. counterpart Joe Biden that the problems of Taiwan, democracy, human rights and rights to growth are “purple traces” for China and to not be challenged, the official state media Xinhua mentioned on Sunday.
Xi warned the US to not get entangled in bilateral disputes over islands and reefs within the South China Sea or “help or abet the impulsion to make provocations” in that area, it mentioned.
