WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Donald Trump has gained the presidential election in Arizona, Edison Analysis projected on Saturday, finishing a sweep of all seven battleground states and locking in a decisive Electoral Faculty victory over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

The Republican Trump, who had secured the 270 Electoral Faculty votes wanted to win the White Home by early on Wednesday, now has what is predicted to be a ultimate complete of 312 votes to Harris’ 226.

Along with Arizona, Trump gained the swing states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Nevada. In 2020, Joe Biden defeated Trump by successful six of the seven swing states – and narrowly dropping North Carolina and gained 306 Electoral Faculty votes to Trump’s 232.

Trump additionally gained 306 in his 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton.

The Related Press stated Trump has gained 74.6 million votes nationwide, or 50.5%, to Harris’ 70.9 million, or 48%.

After Congress certifies the Electoral Faculty vote on Jan. 6, Trump and his incoming vp, U.S. Senator JD (NASDAQ:) Vance, are as a result of take workplace on Jan. 20.
